If you’re lucky enough to have the influence to help someone who is being bullied, you can invite them to spend time with you when they might otherwise be harassed.
If someone is being bullied on the bus, consider sitting beside them and making sure the bus driver and teachers know what’s going on.
No matter where you are – on the bus, in the cafeteria, in class – it can help to sit with a person who has been bullied to make it harder for someone to be mean to them.
If you are someone who is considered popular, or bigger than other kids, your help and friendship could go a long way toward making someone more vulnerable than you feel safe. Befriend someone you see getting picked on so others are less likely to bully them.
