Bullying is tough but it’s only temporary. Instead of focusing only on where you are now, it can help to think about where you are headed and how you will get there.
The present is temporary. Try to transform negativity into motivation to propel you forward in life. Focus on your goals for the future and what kind of person you want to be tomorrow.
Focus on your future by making a list of long-term goals that you’re excited about. Remember to also pay attention to moments of happiness you experience in the here and now. You can list those out too.
Remember that middle school and high school don’t last forever. Talk to people who have graduated from high school. Ask them how their experiences with bullying have changed since then.
